This single moment of vulnerability by biden is a thousand times more effective than any point palin has made of being a down to earth hokey mom that raises her kids with the polar bears. This one statement was much more emotionally connecting than anything palin has brought to the table.

They showed the Palin supporters rally during this part of the debate and they all started booing when Biden started talking about his wife, daughter, and sons. How heartless can they be??? And they claim to be such “loving, God-fearing” people.
When discussing the policies of the country, when is there room in there to wink at the nation. How many votes do you think McCain/Palin get with that? Hell she should have just came out and blew us all kisses. That would have been much much better.
What I love about this moment is that he refused to allow Sarah Palin to have a monopoly on the parenthood. She has branded herself as the “anywoman” that everyone can relate to just because she is a mother.
Biden is my hero for showing his vulnerability and refusing to allow Palin to own “parenthood” as a unique qualification for running the country.
